For our founder, Lara Bamgbose, Iyawo is a celebration of culture and identity. Growing up, she remembers a time when she hid from her culture rather than celebrated it. But as she grew older, she realized the beauty and richness that her heritage brought to her life, and she wanted to weave that same celebration of culture and storytelling into Iyawo.
